This graphical performance of Energy Behavioral in the Euro-Mediterranean region, is the first presented outcome of the new research initiated by AEJI . The full report will be publish in 2021.
This graph shows the energy behavior of countries in relation to energy adoption from renewable sources on national level, and the issue of waste as an energy resource. The study so far shows a similar pattern in relation to the countries of Northern and Western Europe in terms of a relatively high rate of energy from renewable sources, compared to a low and even negligible rate in the countries of the southern Mediterranean / Middle East.
These preliminary findings reinforce the need to formulate activities for the Mediterranean region in the field of energy, Action plan for awareness of different methods of waste treatment and the Need of integration of waste management plans in climate strategy.
